Our Recruitment Process

Global Talent Stream

The skilled workers can expect their Canada work permits and Canada visa applications to be processed within two weeks under Global Talent Streams. Global Talent Stream forms part of the Temporary Foreign Workers Program. The Canadian government aims at helping valued Canadian companies bring forth talent they require within by cutting down on the processing time for the Canada visa application from 6 months to only 10 business days. This is a fast track process. As an employer applying through the Global Talent Stream, complying with the Program requirements for the Global Talent Stream is a must. The employer must also adhere to the conditions and rules set out in the IRPR, Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations and the IRPA, Immigration and Refugee Protection Act regarding hiring a temporary foreign worker.

Temporary Foreign Workers Program

The TFWP is jointly operated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).

Under The Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), Canadian employers are allowed to hire foreign nationals and talents temporarily in order to fill the shortages in Canada’s labor force. The program also ensures that these foreign nationals/workers are given the rights and protection they require for being employed safely in Canada.

The focal point of TFWP is the requirement of a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) on the part of the employer. Canadian employers can hire temporary foreign workers through any of the following streams:

Labour Market Impact Assessment

If any Canadian employers wish to employ foreign nationals, an LMIA or Labour Market Impact Assessment is required for most work permits in Canada (with some exceptions, of course).The desired LMIA is a positive LMIA. And if and when the Canadian employer gets a positive LMIA, it acts as a proof that the employer tried to find a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada to fill a position but failed to find a suitable match. Consequently, they need foreign talent/national to fill in the position instead.
Most of the Canadian work permits require a positive LMIA. However, there are some exceptions, jobs that do not require LMIA on the part of the employer, such as:

Requirements for Employers LMIA

The eligibility for a Canadian employer is determined by a stream. The main requirement to apply for LMIA in order to support permanent residence is that of being in the business for a minimum of 1 year before submitting the application.

For all other, the employer (must)

There are some industry sectors and provinces where LMIA restrictions exist for some jobs and locations. Employers from these industries and provinces can not apply for LMIA.
